The Future of LGBT+ Learning and Training - from ideas to action.
About the event: In collaboration with the CIPD, this workshop is to look at what we as a workforce and community currently do in the region to support LGBT+ learning and training, where we want to be, how we can get there and identify firm actions to take forwards. There may be two levels of interest - workforce training and accredited learning.
Who is it for: open to all employees and students. Of particular interest to those involved in teaching and learning - including secondary, further, higher and non-accredited provision – who are considering LGBT+ issues in their work and study.
What you will gain from attending:
Opportunity to share best practice with others, a chance to question what you currently do and how you might change that in the future, links with others in the region, gain links and be part of a regional network of organisations who are seeking to develop LGBT+ learning and teaching in the workplace and education.
Please arrive from 13:15 for networking, lunch and refreshments.
There is limited parking at the University. The nearest parking is the Little Roodee Car Park – CH1 1SL

If you are unable to attend an event please give at least 1 working day notice and we will be happy to refund 100% of your booking fee or book you on to a subsequent event to the same value. Cancellations received after this time will be non transferable and non refundable.
Professional photography and video production may be taking place at the event, and these images may be used on future promotional materials for CIPD. Please note that by attending the event, you are giving your consent for your image to be used on any CIPD promotional materials.
