We find Oscar Wilde at the end of his life living among the demi-monde in Paris. The film gives us an unsentimental look at Wilde’s louche unscrupulousness and his indomitable charm and wit throughout his fame and fall. Happy Prince unfolds as an homage to a great man with great flaws. It took Everett 5 years to find funding and make the film which is a labour of love with Everett taking the roles of direction, screenplay writer and lead actor.
WFC favourite author Gill Plain returns for Q&A and insight on Oscar Wilde’s life and works.

Doors open 8pm, film starts 8.30pm

We encourage our members to book tickets in advance to benefit frommember priority booking until Wed 21 November at 09:00, when public booking opens. When online ticket sales reach capacity, you may still be able to get your tickets on the door as we hold a limited number of tickets on the day which will be sold on a first come first served basis. The cost of a ticket will be identical, whether purchased online or at the door.

Please be advised that you can only make a booking once using the link sent in this email, so make sure that you book for your guests at the same time as you book for yourself - you will not be able to come back later and add more tickets to your booking.
