Join the University of Birmingham Rainbow Network for our annual Black History Month celebration! This year we will be screening independent film "The Skinny", starring Jussie Smollett of "Empire" fame.

The Skinny is a 2012 film by Patrik-Ian Polk, a black gay filmmaker who is known for his works about the experiences of LGBT African-Americans. It is a romantic dramedy about a group of gay and lesbian friends reuniting at New York City Pride.

Staff, students, and community members welcome. Not suitable viewing for children - parental discretion advised.

The screening will take place in room G33 of the Aston Webb building (building R4 on the University campus map). Please allow for extra time due to building works on the University campus.
