Liyah Mai Leoni is a self-published black lesbian author who released her first novel ‘Sincerely Yours…’ earlier this year. Amid this success she has quickly become a beacon of light; paving the way for upcoming talented individuals on the path of greatness to come together and form a collective of literature-based creatives from the LGBTQ+ family called ‘The Wave’.

The Wave will showcase their talents to raise awareness and grow the LGBTQ+ interest within libraries across London; starting with a collaboration with Sabrina Johnson from Lambeth Libraries & Archives, to host the first Wave non-profit event at Brixton Library.
