Our fourth network event is almost here and this time we're going down South to Bristol.

Our aim for the event is to create a relaxed and sociable environment for team members from across the company to come together and show support for the LGBT+ community at Greene King.

This event is going to be focused on the topic of Pride and we're going to be talking you through the support we're going to be launching to help pubs make the most of Pride.

The week commencing 20th April is also Lesbian Visibility Week, and Greene King has sponsored the event so we'll be hearing from speakers about why we've got involved, and what it means to the community.

REGISTER 

The event is not exclusive for the LGBT+ community; we welcome allies to come along too!

The event will be hosted at Greene King pub The Drawbridge, which is right in the city centre of Bristol and about a 10 minute walk from the nearest train station.

Agenda for the event

7pm - Arrival drinks

8pm - A few short talks from speakers (internal and external)

8.30pm - Entertainment & drinks

Key information

• There's no dress code, come in what you feel comfortable in

Expenses

Travel expenses can be claimed back for the event.

Salaried employees: claim back via Concur and then email [email protected] with the cost so it can be moved over

Non-salaried employees:

1. Fill in the attached PEV form and have this signed off by their line manager (they will need to attach any substantiating receipts to the form) - request the PEV form from [email protected]
2. Manager compensates them via cash from the safe.
3. The pub manager will then need to claim this back on Aztec as an expense and scan in the paperwork onto pub scanning under 'Petty cash expenses
4. Pub manager to email [email protected] to confirm the cost of the expense, which will then be transferred from the pub budget to the Network budget
