This artist led discussion will explore the multiple challenges, visions and intersections of experience that are faced by Black artists based in the North. Chaired by Slate Enabler Chardine Taylor-Stone, The Long Table is an open panel format where audience members can 'take a seat at the table' and join the debate. Led by Eclipse, Slate is a three-year movement supporting Black artists in the North to work on a local, national and international level.
Chardine Taylor-Stone is an award-winning cultural producer and feminist activist. She is the founder of Black Girls Picnic, a global movement in collective self-care for Black women and girls and Stop Rainbow Racism. She was formerly on the advisory board for Schools Out LGBT History.
