Whiskies from Around the World - AIDS/LifeCycle Fundraiser!

Come experience whiskies from around the world at Bar 1919! A perfect holiday season getaway, Bar 1919 owner Don Marsh will take guests on a trip around the world, offering insight and tastings of eight different whiskies from countries including the United States, Scotland, Ireland, Japan and Taiwan.

This event is a fundraiser for cyclist Ryan Loyd, who will be riding 545 miles along the California coast from San Francisco to Los Angeles in June 2019. Money raised will benefit the Los Angeles LGBT Center and the San Francisco AIDS Foundation, which provides life-sustaining and life-saving medical care to those living with HIV and AIDS. The organizations also work to reduce the stigma surrounding HIV/AIDS, grow the community of advocates, and honor those who have died due to AIDS-related causes. The orgnizations have national and global impact, so the money raised even impacts local communities like ours!

Each guest will receive a special whiskey glass as a thank you. Enjoy a night of whiskies and warm conversations amid the backdrop of the holiday season in San Antonio.
