World Pride 2019 - March with Caribbean Equality Project
Join the Caribbean Equality Project in 2019 as we commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising and a half-century of LGBTQIA+ liberation in NYC.
In celebration of our 4-year anniversary, we will proudly participate in the 2019 Queens Pride Parade, Brooklyn Pride Parade and NYC Pride March to represent the growing LGBTQ+ Caribbean community in the diaspora. This year, our goal is to continue affirming LGBTQ Caribbean identities under the colorfully inclusive theme: “Prideful Mosaic: LGBTQ People of the Caribbean.” This aligns with our effort to present a contingent inclusive of our Afro- and Indo-Caribbean cultural backgrounds and ancestry, as we continue advocating for full equality and PRIDEfully celebrate our diverse Caribbean heritage at World Pride in NYC.
