About Isomorphic Labs

Isomorphic Labs is a digital biology company working to redefine drug discovery with the power of artificial intelligence.

We were launched from Alphabet’s DeepMind in 2021 and remain a part of the Alphabet family of “bets” - investments made to solve big problems at scale. The company was founded and is led by Demis Hassabis, who also co-founded DeepMind and leads Google DeepMind. Using our AI-first approach to drug discovery and biology, we are working to advance a new era of biomedical breakthroughs and find cures for some of humanity’s most devastating diseases.

Put more simply, our mission is to use AI and machine learning methods to make the drug discovery process faster and better. In doing that, we hope to contribute to making the drugs people need more accessible and affordable.

We are thinking big - and we believe we’ve got what it takes to succeed. Not only do we have the desire, agility and ambition of a start-up, we’ve got the resources, too. We have the capital, commitment and compute power to fuel our work - and we have the talent and drive of our growing Isomorphic team to fuel our ambition.

We are applying computational techniques like deep learning, reinforcement learning, active learning, representation learning and more to the toughest challenges in drug discovery and most stubborn scientific problems in biology, chemistry and medical research today. That means we need lots of different kinds of talent here to be successful.
