It’s the energy, that buzz we feel when we get together and make brilliant things happen.

Just be you, and together, we can share that feeling. That Superdrug feeling.

At Superdrug, there’s no one size fits all. We don’t just talk about being customer-focused.
We live it.

Access All Areas Network

Anna Edwards, Senior Talent Acquisition Advisor

The Access All Areas Network recognises that talent is everywhere 'but that opportunity isn't' and that accessible health and beauty products applies just as much to our people as our products and services.

Through quality work experience, apprenticeships (Apprenticeships | www.superdrug.jobs], development programmes, and mentoring, we aim to make opportunities accessible for everyone no matter their start in life or background.

Working with our charity partners, Drive Forward and the Care Leavers Covenant, we offer permanent job opportunities and work placements to care-experienced young people. Our team members also provide mentoring and skills training including CV and interview skills workshops.

We also work with Working Chance and HMP Bronzefield, providing work and skills for women with convictions.

Gender Equality Network

Molly Speck, Senior Customer & Communications Manager

"The mission of the Gender Equality Network is to create a fair, supportive, and flexible workplace for people of all genders. To ensure a gender balance in our future leadership teams, we will:

• Champion and inspire women in our business

• Remove Barriers to building a strong pipeline of diverse talent

Recently we have focused on issues such as Menopause and Domestic Abuse. We celebrate the careers of women in our business and ensure our family friendly policies work for all."

Harmony Network

Tahara, Senior Pharmacy Manager

“The Harmony Network supports the business to be the employer of choice that attracts a diverse workforce. We want to harness people’s unique backgrounds and talents for the benefit of individuals and customers.

We believe that every team member can come to work as their authentic self, and this includes Black hair and hairstyles, which is why we are signatories to the Halo Code, a campaign which exists to build a future without hair discrimination. Please search thehalocode on Instagram for more information.

We are also signed up to the Race of Work Charter, and work with team members on our own internal commitments to improve racial and religious equality in the workplace.

Race - Business in the Community

We focus on educating and celebrating key dates and religious festivals, with speakers, stories, food, and hosting Iftars and Diwali celebrations for all in some stores.

The Network were behind the launch of the Religious Holidays policy and are developing a Religious Inclusion toolkit. “

Pride

Craig Watt, Head of Pharmacy Operations North

"Our mission is to provide a network for our LGBTQ+ colleagues and the allies that stand alongside us. We want colleagues to know that they can be the real them at work.

We are committed to supporting them, by signposting help available internally through the network, as well as externally. As part of our annual Pride activities, we collaborate with our support partner, Unilever, and LGBT Switchboard. Over the years we have donated over £50,000 to LGBT charities. We have also developed a Gender Identity and Expression Policy and support Toolkit for trans and non-binary employees at work and encouraged everyone to be comfortable sharing their pro-nouns."

DisAbility Network

Jerry Walkling, Sales Operations Director, and Exex Sponsor of the DisAbility Network

"Our DisAbility Network focuses on disabilities and long-term health conditions. We are committed to:

• Building awareness of visible and non-visible disability across the business

• Supporting our colleagues that live with these disabilities or long-term health conditions

• Breaking down stigmas and removing the labels attached to disability overall

• Working to ensure that we are an inclusive and accessible workplace

We are proud to have signed the Valuable 500, a global community revolutionising disability inclusion though business leadership and opportunity."
